Magan Ake, RN, brings over 16 years of diverse nursing experience to her role, with a deep commitment to holistic health and wellness. She began her nursing career as a post-operative surgical nurse before transitioning to the Emergency Department. Her experience in acute care revealed the shortcomings of conventional medicine, emphasizing symptom management over disease prevention and root cause treatment.

Driven by a passion to make a genuine difference in people's lives, Magan shifted her focus to dermatology and aesthetics. Her personal quest for true health led her to immerse herself in continuous learning, with a particular emphasis on nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress mitigation, exercise, and mental and emotional well-being.

Magan is now a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach, also holding certification as an Alter Nutrition Coach. She emphasizes building healthy skeletal muscle as a foundation for overall health. She is dedicated to a root cause approach that focuses on a healthy lifestyle, empowering clients to take responsibility for their health through personalized coaching. Her goal is to teach sustainable nutrition practices, avoid crash diets, and help clients achieve lasting health benefits, improved metabolic health, enhanced self-confidence, and a greater sense of well-being.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

Magan’s received the Alma Education and Arts Scholarship. Graduated from the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith on the Dean's list and as a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Her extensive nursing experience spans 17 years, including 10 years in acute care and subsequent specialization in dermatology and aesthetics.

Magan plans to pursue her Functional Nutrition certification next, continually expanding her expertise to better serve her clients.

When she isn’t helping clients achieve their health goals, Magan enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her four dachshunds. Her love for travel and nature provides a perfect balance to her professional life, allowing her to recharge and bring fresh perspectives to her practice.
