FAQs
What is MOXI?
MOXI™ is a gentle, non-ablative laser treatment designed to prevent and correct early signs of aging, improve skin tone, and restore radiance.
How many MOXI treatments will I need?
This will depend on your treatment goals and the level of correction desired. Most patients receive 3 to 4 corrective Moxi treatments, then often elect for regular maintenance treatments. Talk to your VOXY Aesthetics provider about your goals, and they can advise you on the best treatment plan.
When can I expect to see results from a MOXI treatment?
Results will vary depending on your treatment goals and the plan you set with your Voxy Aesthetics provider. The day following your treatment, your skin may appear red, and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called “mends” where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3 and 5, the mends will slough off, revealing renewed skin beneath.
Do MOXI treatments hurt?
Moxi is a gentle and comfortable laser treatment that most patients find very tolerable. The numbing cream applied to the treatment area before the procedure minimizes discomfort.
I have a darker skin tone. Would MOXI work for me?
Yes, Moxi works beautifully on darker skin tones and is appropriate for all skin types. If you have specific questions or concerns based on your skin tone, ask your VOXY Aesthetics provider.
What can I expect during a MOXI™ treatment?
Sessions are quick and comfortable, typically lasting about 20–30 minutes. You may feel a mild warming sensation during treatment.
